So many things truly tried to stop me from getting this WORD.  It was pouring raining this morning, we arrived late to the church and when we arrived there weren’t any seats available in the sanctuary. The area we sat in, didn’t have a set up for us to actually view and hear the service. WHEW! I truly believed “SOMETHING” DID NOT want me to get this WORD.  Some folks left in search of other areas to get the message in the building, standing in the hallway outside the sanctuary, another overflow room on a different floor.  With our Lil One in tow, we sat where we were, with the equipment coming on and off.  Almost towards the end of the service, a church staff member came in and told us they were going to get a copy of today’s service on CD.  As we listened to the service, in the car, it totally made sense, why it was such a challenge for me to GET this WORD:

((((THIS SERVICE WAS TOTALLY FOR ME and I TRULY NEEDED THIS )))) Every part of it! No doubt!
THANK YOU GOD….I GOT IT and I WILL make this change in my HEART!

I know I haven’t posted a Sermon in awhile.  It is not that I haven’t been going to church, it is mainly because funds are kindy “funny” as of late. Today I am prolly going to the pawn shop to get rid of a few items that just don’t get touched by me anymore.  WOW.  I thought I was a long way from going to pawn-shop to get a few bucks for the week.  Any ways, my mom, who is on a fixed income, was kind of enough to give me a few bucks to get the CD of the Sermon yesterday.  THANKS, Mom   XXOO

 This week I sooooo DID NOT want to be a work.  I know this attitude is going to BITE me in the BUTTOCKS, so I just better stop it.  Anywho, I woke up, NICE RIGHT!!  GOD grants me the BLESSING of WAKING UP and I am complaining about doing my part.  I suck. 

So I said a short prayer and made a promise to myself that I would DO BETTER.  Pastor Smith had a GREAT sermon Sunday, Sept 7th which again…OPENED my eyes.  This sermon was about our Spiritural Growth.  Sadly, I am very embarrased to reveal…that I may STILL be in the infancy state in my relationship with GOD and haven’t even made it to toddler.  Not sure what would happen to me if I didn’t have a teacher like Dr. Smith in my life.
